The BASIS DC Boosters work with our school liaison, Head of School Paul Morrissey, to coordinate Boosters and school efforts.


The DC Boosters support the school in the following ways:

 

    • Fundraising for the Annual Teachers Fund - this provides one of the key bonuses teachers receive at the end of the year

    • Social Events  - from seasonal fun student and family events to monthly working/social Booster gatherings, we are working to help build relationships within our learning community

Also:
      • Organizing Room Parents for each class (contact lists, monthly class family get togethers)
      • Teacher Appreciation and donations to classrooms and staff lounges
      • Weekly eBlasts, our online newsletter
      • School Directory 
      • Carpool, Bikepool and Walk to School Information
      • School Store - for school spirit items, starting with our school t-shirt

More services will be added as the Boosters grow in capacity, and we move through our first school year.  As always, this organization is only as strong as its member involvement.  Please contact one of the committee chairs to help develop the programs for our first year.  Your time, energy, talents and great ideas are the foundations of our success.
